Pizza Toast
Ingredients
- 1 soft loaf French bread (12 oz.–1 lb./350–450 g)
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) butter, melted
- 2 tsp (10 mL) Garlic Parmesan Seasoning
- 1 cup (250 mL) pizza sauce
- 1 cup (250 mL) grated mozzarella cheese
- Optional: ¼ cup (60 mL) mini pepperoni or your favorite pizza toppings
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Slice the bread into 1" (2.5-cm) slices (you’ll get about 16 pieces). Place them evenly on a baking sheet.
- Combine the melted butter and seasoning in a small bowl. Brush the bread with the butter mixture.
- Top each piece of bread with 1 tbsp (15 mL) of sauce and spread it to the edges.
- Sprinkle cheese over each piece of bread and add pepperoni or any other toppings you’d like
- Bake the mini pizzas for 10–12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and begins to brown.
