Revised February 24, 2016

At The Pampered Chef®, including its affiliates, (collectively "TPC" or The Pampered Chef (referred to as "we" or "us" or "our"), we are committed to protecting your personal information and privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to The Pampered Chef Website, including our official corporate website, Consultants' personal websites and the Consultant-only part of the Website, known as Consultant's Corner, which are all collectively referred to as the "Website". The Pampered Chef respects the privacy of our consultants, customers and those who visit our Website and this Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Use. This online Privacy Policy does not cover or include the collection of personal information by a Pampered Chef independent consultant.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and under certain circumstances disclose personally identifiable information ("PII") and the steps we have taken to secure PII.

We use the information we collect solely for our business purposes. We do not sell or share PII to unaffiliated third parties, except as disclosed in this privacy policy. We may, however, provide aggregate information and statistics about our customers, sales and related site-information to our third party vendors, but this information and statistics will not include personally identifying information. Please note that we may release PII in good faith as is reasonably necessary to comply with the law or protect our rights or others' rights.

Your Consent

By using the Website, you agree to let us collect and use information per the guidelines of this policy. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post changes on this page and note the effective date so that you are always aware of what information we collect and how we use it. If we materially change our practices regarding collection or use of your PII, your PII will continue to be governed by the Policy under which it was collected unless you have been provided notice, and have not objected to this change.

This Website is a general audience website and we do not knowingly collect PII from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have PII of a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information.

When you become a consultant, we need to know your name, email address, phone, mailing address, Social Insurance or tax identification number (for financial reporting purposes) and credit card number and expiration date.

When you create an account, we need to know your name and email address and we may request other information about you.

We may use the information you provide to create and verify your account profile; fulfill your order; process a consultant agreement; provide you with information and customer service in response to your specific request or respond to any of your other inquiries; provide you with information on the Company's or a Consultant's services, either on a personalized or aggregate basis; improve the content and navigation on the Website; enforce our Terms of Use; resolve disputes, prevent and detect fraud and otherwise help us to comply with the law, regulation and/or legal process. If you do not provide a requested piece of PII, we may not be able to complete your transaction and may try to contact you. If you would like to access and modify the personal information you have provided, please contact us at

We may share your PII with outside contractors or agents who work on our behalf to help us manage our informational activities or provide services on our behalf, but they must abide by applicable privacy principles and this policy, and may only use your PII to provide us with a specific service and not for any other purpose.

Any communications that you submit or post to an interactive feature such as a blog or message board may be viewable by other users of the Website. While we may remove PII about you, we assume no obligation to do so. We are not responsible for, nor can we guarantee protection of, any PII you submit or post to the interactive features of the TPC Website. Therefore, you acknowledge and understand you have no expectation of privacy in the content you submit to the Website's interactive features, whether or not it contains your PII.

When you create an account or log into our Website through a social media service or similar tool, such as through Facebook or Twitter, any information that these third party social media sites collect as a result of your use of those sign-in tools is subject to those respective entities' own privacy policies. If you sign-in to our Website using such third party sign-in tools, certain PII from those third party websites or services will be shared with us. We will treat this information shared with us in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

The Website automatically also collects certain information that is not personally identifiable. For example, the Website automatically recognizes your domain name, IP address and region or geographical area, browser version, operating system and the website you passed through to reach our Website. In addition, our Website automatically gathers certain usage information like the numbers and frequency of visitors to our Website and its various web pages or content, very much like television ratings that tell how many people tuned in to a program. We also may collect certain information through cookies and similar tools as further described in the section below titled "Cookies." This information will not be used by The Pampered Chef for behavioural advertising.

Whether you place an order or create a profile, we use industry-standard secure server software (SSL) and encrypt the information you input before it is sent to us. In addition, we use commercially reasonable measures to protect the customer data against unauthorized access. Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect PII, to the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our website, and you do so at your own risk. We are not responsible for the actions of third parties.

Your information will be retained for a reasonable period of time and as necessary for the purpose for which it was obtained, or as required by relevant statutory, regulatory, or contractual requirements, after which it will be securely destroyed or anonymized. We may remove personal identifiers from your information and maintain and use it in anonymous form that may later be combined with other information to generate aggregated information. Such anonymous and aggregated information may be sold, traded, rented, or shared.
