Cheesy Garlic Monkey Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (16.3 oz./462 g) refrigerated biscuits
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) butter (½ stick)
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) Italian Seasoning Mix
  • 3   garlic cloves, pressed
  • 3 cups (375 mL) grated mozzarella cheese, divided
  •  Optional: Marinara for dipping

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Use kitchen shears to cut each biscuit into quarters and set aside.
  2. Add the butter, seasoning mix, and garlic to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until the butter is melted, about 30–45 seconds.
  3. Use the brush to spread some of the butter mixture onto the bottom of an 8"–9" (20–23-cm) cake pan.
  4. Sprinkle ½ cup (125 mL) of the cheese onto the bottom of the pan. Place the biscuits in the pan.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, then tap the remaining butter mixture over the top with the brush.
  6. Bake for 22–24 minutes, or until the top is golden-brown. Cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve the bites right out of the pan or flip onto a cutting board. Serve with marinara or spaghetti, if you’d like.
