Cheesy Garlic Monkey Bread
Ingredients
- 1 pkg (16.3 oz./462 g) refrigerated biscuits
- ¼ cup (60 mL) butter (½ stick)
- 2 tsp (10 mL) Italian Seasoning Mix
- 3 garlic cloves, pressed
- 3 cups (375 mL) grated mozzarella cheese, divided
- Optional: Marinara for dipping
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Use kitchen shears to cut each biscuit into quarters and set aside.
- Add the butter, seasoning mix, and garlic to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until the butter is melted, about 30–45 seconds.
- Use the brush to spread some of the butter mixture onto the bottom of an 8"–9" (20–23-cm) cake pan.
- Sprinkle ½ cup (125 mL) of the cheese onto the bottom of the pan. Place the biscuits in the pan.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, then tap the remaining butter mixture over the top with the brush.
- Bake for 22–24 minutes, or until the top is golden-brown. Cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve the bites right out of the pan or flip onto a cutting board. Serve with marinara or spaghetti, if you’d like.
