Maple Leaf Dessert Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pkg (8 oz or 235 g each) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 pkg (8 oz/250 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (250 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) lemon zest
  • 1-2 lbs (450 g - 1 kg) fresh strawberries, hulled (about 3 - 6 cups/725 mL - 1.4 L)
  •  Lemon-lime soda or additional lemon juice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Unroll crescent dough into 3 long strips. Arrange dough on Stone Bar Pan, pinching seams together to seal. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven; cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice and zest; mix well. Spread cream cheese mixture over top crust.
  3. Slice strawberries using Egg Slicer Plus or Cup Slicer.
  4. To assemble, arrange strawberries in three rows on both sides of the pan and in a maple leaf shape in the center. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill up to 6 hours.
  5. To serve, cut into squares.
