Batter Bowl Cake


  • 1 pkg (1-layer size/9 oz) cake mix, any flavor (plus ingredients to make cake)
  • 1-2 cups (250-500 mL) frosting
  •  Food coloring


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Spray Small Batter Bowl with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour into batter bowl.

  3. Bake 35-45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes on Stackable Cooling Rack; invert cake onto cooling rack. Cool completely.

  4. Frost and decorate as desired to create a baseball cap or pumpkin.
