Strawberry-Lime Dessert Sauce


  • 3 cups (750 mL) sliced strawberries (about 1 lb/450 g), divided
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) honey
  • 1   lime
  •  Vanilla ice cream and pound cake slices (optional)


  1. Thickly slice strawberries using Paring Knife. Place 1 cup (250 mL) of the strawberries in Small Batter Bowl. Add honey and mix well. Microwave on HIGH 2 minutes or until hot. Using Mini Mix 'N Chop, mash strawberries; set aside to cool.

  2. Zest lime to measure 1 tbsp (15 mL) zest. Stir zest and remaining strawberries into strawberry mixture. Spoon sauce over ice cream and pound cake slices, if desired.
