Peanut Butter Fudge Pudding Cake

This flavor combination is a winner. Serve warm with ice cream, fudge sauce and a sprinkling of peanuts.

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅔ cups (400 mL) devil's food cake mix
  • ⅓ cup (75 mL) peanut butter
  • ½ cup (125 mL) packed brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup (250 mL) boiling water
  • ⅓ cup (75 mL) peanuts, chopped
  •  Vanilla ice cream (optional)
  •  Hot fudge ice cream topping (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In Classic Batter Bowl, prepare cake mix according to package directions. Blend in peanut butter. Pour batter into Mini Deep Covered Baker. In Small Batter Bowl, combine brown sugar and cocoa powder; stir in boiling water. Carefully pour chocolate mixture over cake batter. Bake 35-40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 30 minutes. Chop peanuts with Food Chopper. Serve pudding cake warm with ice cream and fudge topping, if desired. Sprinkle with peanuts.
