Margarita

Ditch the margarita mix—our classic margarita recipe is easy to make for one or for a crowd.

Ingredients

FOR ONE COCKTAIL FOR 8 COCKTAILS
  • ¾ oz. (20 mL) Simple Syrup
  • ¾ oz. (20 mL) lime juice
  • 1½ oz. (45 mL) blanco tequila
  • 1 cups (250 mL) ice
  • Salt for rim (optional)
  • 1 lime wedge(optional)
  • ¾ cup (175 mL) Simple Syrup
  • ¾ cup (175 mL) lime juice
  • 1½ cups (375 mL) blanco tequila
  • 8 cups (2 L) ice
  • Salt for rim (optional)
  • 8 lime wedges (optional)
  • • Combine the syrup, juice, and alcohol in the large cup of the Cocktail Shaker.
  • • Add the ice to the large cup, seal the shaker, and shake vigorously.
  • • Combine the syrup, juice, and alcohol in a large pitcher.
  • • When ready to serve, add up to 12 oz. (350 mL) of the mixture to the large cup of the Cocktail Shaker.
  • • Add ice to the large cup, seal the shaker, and shake vigorously.

Directions

  1. Use the Cocktail Strainer to strain into chilled glasses rimmed with salt and garnish with a lime wedge(s).

Citrus Variation for 8 Cocktails

Shake up the basic margarita with this orange twist.

  • ¾ cup (175 mL) Simple Syrup
  • ½ cup (125 mL) orange juice
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) lime juice
  • 1½ cups (375 mL) blanco tequila
  • 8 cups (2 L) ice
  • Salt for rim (optional)

Add dehydrated orange slices for a next-level garnish! To make: Slice 1 orange into ¼-inch (6 mm) thick slices. Lay and arrange on air fryer trays and DEHYDRATE for 6-8 hours in the Deluxe Air Fryer.
