- • If applying too much pressure, cutters can cut through silicone or pastry mats.
CLEANING
- • Wash before using for the first time; dishwasher-safe.
USE AND CARE
- • To cut out larger cookies: Grab the larger cutter and press it straight down into the dough. Then, lift the cutter.
- • To cut out cookies with a hole in the center: After you cut out some larger cookies, grab the cutter at the top of the large cookie cutter with the small cutter facing down. Place the small cutter over the cut-out cookie and line it up with the edges of the large cutter. Press it straight down into the dough and lift the cutter.
- • To assemble a Linzer cookie:
- 1. Bake the cookies and let them cool.
- 2. Place 1 tsp (5 mL) of jam on a large cookie.
- 3. Top it with a cookie with a hole in the center.
- • You can release dough from the cutter by gently pressing it out with your fingertips.
- • Dip the cookie cutter edges in flour to reduce sticking.
- • Results will vary based on the type of cookie dough you use (ex. sugar cookie dough compared to gingerbread dough). Some details may be lost if dough spreads.
