SAFETY AND USE INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING

• • The Silicone Egg Bites Mold can only be used with Pampered Chef approved pressure cookers. Do not use with other pressure cookers.
• • Always use the rack provided when placing the tray in and removing from the Deluxe Multi Cooker. Only use the rack with the Pampered Chef Deluxe Multi Cooker and no other appliances.
• • Always use caution when handling the tray and rack. Use silicone heat-resistant oven mitts or pads while handling the hot tray and rack and when placing on surfaces.
• • Do not use if this product if it or the Deluxe Multi Cooker are damaged. Discontinue use if the product becomes damaged.
• • Not intended for use by or near children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
• • Never use the mold in Deluxe Multi Cooker without the rack included. The rack is intended to help take the mold in and out of the Deluxe Multi Cooker to prevent possible burn or injury.
• • The mold is microwave- and refrigerator-safe. Microwave ovens vary; adjust the time and power levels as needed; begin with shorter cooking times. When using a microwave with inverter technology, reduce the power level to MEDIUM (50%). Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for your microwave regarding power adjustment.
• • The rack is not microwave-safe.
• • Do not fill any cavities with boiling liquids to prevent burning or injury.
• • When microwaving foods high in fat or sugar, check the contents in the mold frequently to prevent overheating. Evenly distribute foods high in fat or sugar to prevent hot spots during microwaving. Overheating may cause surface damage or warping. Always reference the microwave directions included with food packaging.
• • Never use the mold in the microwave for extended amounts of time. It is recommended to microwave food in intervals of 30 seconds and for no longer than 3 minutes in total while using this mold.
• • Do not use in the microwave when the mold is empty.

SAFEGUARDS

• • The tray is not air- or water-tight. Do not fully submerge in water.
• • Aerosol nonstick spray is not recommended; it will create a sticky residue which is difficult to clean.
• • The lid is not air fryer-, oven-, or microwave-safe.
• • If using the mold in the oven, place on a cookie sheet for stability.
• • Place on a flat surface when adding or removing food from the trays.
• • Do not use sharp tools to remove the egg bites as they can puncture the silicone.
• • Never use a hot rack as a trivet.

CLEANING

• • Wash before first use; the mold, lid, and rack are dishwasher-safe when placed away from heating elements. Some water spotting on the silicone is normal. To prevent this, hand washing is recommended.
• • Let the tray, lid, and rack come to room temperature before cleaning.

USE

• • The mold is heat-safe up to 450°F (230°C). If using in the oven, place on a sheet pan for stability.
• • Refrigerator- and freezer-safe.

FOR SOUS VIDE USE IN THE DELUXE MULTI COOKER

• • Fill the stainless steel inner pot with 7 cups (1.6 L) of water.
• • Place the lid on the Deluxe Multi Cooker. Set to the desired time and temperature on the Sous Vide setting.
• • While the temperature is being reached, brush the tray with oil and add the food to the tray. Do not fill each cavity more than 2/3 full. Then place the lid on the tray.
• • Once the temperature has been reached, remove the Deluxe Multi Cooker lid and carefully use the rack to place the tray in the water. Be sure the lid stays properly seated on the tray. Do not fully submerge.
• • Replace the Deluxe Multi Cooker lid and start the timer.
• • When the timer is done, use oven mitts to carefully lift the rack and remove the tray.
