Q: How is Brilliance Nonstick Bakeware different from aluminized steel sheet pans or two-toned bakeware?

A: Our Brilliance Nonstick Bakeware has a superior nonstick coating that ensures nothing sticks to it and is dishwasher-safe! Plus, the pans and lids are specially designed to easily stack and store food in the refrigerator and freezer.

Q: My pan is rusting. Will it continue to rust as I use it?

A: You may notice rusting on the underside of the rim or in places where the pan is scratched. That's common and completely normal. If you see rust on a food-contact surface, we don't recommend using it after that. We also don't recommend using metal utensils with this bakeware. 

Q: My pan has scratches.

A: To prevent scratch marks, we don't recommend using metal utensils with Brilliance Nonstick Bakeware. It's normal to see scratching on the bottom of the pans' exterior from sliding them across oven racks. 

Q: My lid is warping. What should I do?

A: After washing the lid in a dishwasher, you may notice the lid has a slight warp. This will lessen when you let it rest on the countertop. The slight warp is fine and won't impact its performance.

Q: Can the lids from the 9'' x 13'' (23-cm x 33-cm) Brilliance Nonstick Baking Pan With Lid and 8'' (20-cm) Brilliance Nonstick Square Pan With Lid fit other bakeware pans?

A: No.

Q: Which materials are Brilliance Nonstick Bakeware made of?

A:

• • The nonstick coating is a silicone-based nonstick coating.
• • The pans are made of aluminized steel.
• • The lids are made of thermoplastic polyurethane.

Q: The feet on my baking rack are coming off. How do I secure them in place?

A: Press the plug through the hole with some force.

Q: My lid shrunk or changed size in the freezer. What should I do?

A: This is considered normal. The lid will return to its original size once it's reached room temperature.

SAFETY AND USE INSTRUCTIONS

• • Read, understand, follow, and save all Safety and Use Instructions to avoid injury.

WARNING

• • Adult supervision is required when using with children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
• • To prevent burns, DO NOT use your fingers to remove food from the pan(s) and/or baking rack (if applicable).
• • Always use caution when handling the hot pan(s) and/or baking rack (if applicable). Use heat-resistant oven mitts or pads when handling and place the hot pan(s) and/or baking rack (if applicable) on flat, level surfaces.

SAFEGUARDS

• • Use both hands when handling the pan(s).
• • DO NOT use metal utensils in the pan(s).
• • DO NOT use the pan(s), baking rack, and/or lid(s) (if applicable) on glass or ceramic cooktops, electric coil ranges, gas burner ranges, induction (magnetic) ranges, or outdoor grills (if applicable). They are NOT microwave- or broiler-safe.
• • DO NOT use the lid(s) as a trivet (if applicable).
• • The use of abrasive cleasers such as steel wool, cleansers with bleach, or oven-cleaning solutions can damage the pan and will void the guarantee.
• • Foods such as turmeric, mustard, and those that are acidic, such as tomato sauce, may cause discoloration to the surface of the pan(s), lid(s), and/or baking rack (if applicable). As needed, line the bttom and sides of the pan with parchment paper; cut to fit the pan so the paper does not extend over the top of pan. Refer to package directions for more details.
• • Always ensure the food and pan(s) are cool before placing the lid(s) on. This will prevent any damage to the product as well as the lid popping off from steam buildup. The lid(s) may melt if it's placed on a hot pan.
• • DO NOT carry pan(s) by the lid when transporting (if applicable).
• • Lid(s) is not leakproof (if applicable).
• • Due to the nature of the material and construction of all metal bakeware, rusting under the rim is normal. YOu can wipe it clean and continue to use it.

For the Baking Rack (if applicable)

• • Always put the baking rack on a sheet pan before placing it in the oven.
• • When using the baking rack in the oven to roast, place it on a sheet pan with thicker sides to catch any food drippings. DO NOT use it as a roasting pan.
• • Use caution when cooking food that produce excess grease.
• • When using the baking rack to roast meats or oultry, set the oven rack so there is at least a 6" (15-cm) space between the food and the top of the oven.

CLEANING

• • Always ensure the pan(s) is cool before cleaning.
• • Towel dry immediately and thoroughly.
• • Pan(s) will naturally change in appearance over time through use and washing.
• • The nonstick properties may diminish over time and is considered normal.

When Using the Dishwasher:

• • The pan(s) and baking rack (if applicable) are dishwasher-safe.
• • The lid(s) is dishwasher-safe when placed away from the heating element (if applicable).
• • Use dishwashing detergent without bleach or citurs additives.
• • To minimize spotting when dishwashing, we recommend using a rinsing agent.
• • The lid(s) may warp in the dishwasher, which will not impact its fit on the pan (if applicable).
• • Dishwashing will accelerate the deterioration of the nonstick properties and is considered normal.

When Hand Washing:

• • Washing by hand with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth can extend the life of the product(s).

To Deep Clean:

• • To deep clean, prepare a baking soda paste by mixing ½ cup (125 mL) of baking soda with 3 tbsp (45 mL) of water.
• • Apply as needed and let it dry for 15–20 minutes.
• • Rinse with hot water and dish soap.

USE AND CARE

• • If applicable, the pan(s) and baking rack are safe to use in conventional and convection ovens. We DO NOT recommend using them in ovens over 450°F (230°C).
• • The lid(s) is NOT oven-safe (if applicable).
• • When using the pan(s) for baked goods, reduce the suggested temperature in recipes by 25°F (4°C). Darker pans require slightly lower temperature.
• • Aerosol nonstick spray is NOT recommended; it will create a sticky residue which is difficult to clean.
• • Always follow the recipe greasing or flouring instructions.
• • It is normal to see some scratching after use. To minimize, DO NOT slide the pan across surfaces.
• • The pan(s) and lid(s) (if applicable) are refrigerator- and freezer-safe.
• • If applicable, the lid(s) fit on the pan(s) may loosen while in the freezer. It will return to its normal shape once it warms up to room temperature, which is considered normal.
