CLEANING
- • Wash before using for the first time; dishwasher-safe when placed away from the heating element. Tips and couplers should be placed in the utensil basket. Turn the bag inside out and place on top rack with the loop over the prong.
USE AND CARE
To assemble:
- Bags come pre-cut to fit couplers.
- 1. Remove the ring from the coupler base.
- 2. Drop one coupler base, narrow end first, into one bag.
- 3. Push the coupler base down through opening until the bag end is past 1–2 threads. Repeat step 3 with the second bag and coupler.
- 4. Align flat sides of coupler base on each bag ensuring the dimples align.
- 5. While holding the coupler bases together with one hand, place a chosen decorating tip over the coupler bases.
- 6. Put the coupler ring over the tip and twist until the tip is firmly secured. The tip may spin.
To fill bag:
- 1. Hold one bag in one hand with the tip side down. Tip: Place the bag, tip side down in a tall narrow cup (or use the Measure-All® Cup) for easier handling.
- 2. Fold the top of the bag down halfway to form a generous cuff over your hand.
- 3. With a spreader or spatula, add icing to the top of cuffed bag. Note: It is important not to overfill the bag. Excess icing may squeeze out of the wrong end. Recommend filling each bag with no more than ½ cup (125-mL) for the best experience. For best use, also ensure the items in each bag are the same consistency, temperature, and fill level.
- 4. Remove the icing from the spreader or spatula by scraping along the side of the bag.
- 5. Unfold the cuff and twist the bag closed to force icing down. Note: Make sure to release any air trapped in the bag by squeezing some of the icing out of the tip.
- 6. Repeat steps 1–5 with the other bag.
- 7. Place a Twixit!® Clip over the twist in both bags to secure.
- 8. Once no more icing remains, either refill bag or use Twixit!® Clip to push icing residue toward tip by sliding clip down bag.
