CLEANING
- • Wash before using for the first time; dishwasher-safe when placed away from the heating element. The product should be fully disassembled before you place in the dishwasher.
- • If needed, remove the seal in lid to clean. Press to fit it back into the lid groove.
- • This product may become cloudy with direct contact from citrus juice and zest as well as sunscreens. This is considered normal but not covered under the guarantee.
USE AND CARE
Step 1
Disassemble the product so you have the lid, container, base, and elevator in front of you.
Step 2
With the container lip-side up, place it over the base and press it down until it’s flush with your counter.
Step 3
Fill the container with guacamole. Then, smooth the top to make it level.
For best results, pack it tightly and check the sides of the container to ensure there are no air pockets.
Step 4
Place the cover on the container and lock the lid with the three clips, keeping the large sealing tab on top of the lid open.
Step 5
Next, place the container on the elevator and gently push it down on the container. Squeeze out all the air until the guacamole appears at the top hole.
Step 6
Close the tab to form a seal and store the container in the refrigerator without the elevator attached until it’s ready to serve. Before opening the container again, open the large tab first and then unlock all three clips.
IMPORTANT: Always put the lid on before attaching the elevator. Push the base up from bottom, not down through the top. Pushing it in the wrong direction will affect its ability to maintain an airtight seal.
A thin line of browning may appear at the very bottom where the base meets the container. This is normal and means your guacamole is still fresh!
