WARNING
- • Adult supervision is required when using with children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
- • Use on a flat, dry surface.
CLEANING
- • Wash prior to first use; dishwasher-safe when placed away from heating element. For best results, position QuickHalf Tool with the hinge to the side to minimize water collection during dishwashing.
- • Thoroughly clean after use with raw meat to prevent cross-contamination.
USE AND CARE
- • Ideal for foods up to 1½" (4-cm) thick. Works best with grape and cherry tomatoes, bite-sized mozzarella balls, seedless grapes and pitted olives. Can also be used to help stabilize larger foods that require splitting, such as bagels or rolls, butterfly boneless, skinless chicken breasts, or cut 8-oz. (227-g) brie wheel in half.
- • Do not use with foods that are too tall to fit within the QuickHalf Tool, such as whole onions or potatoes.
- • Works best with any sharp knife that has at least a 7" (18-cm) blade length. For best results, use a serrated knife with bagels, rolls or soft tomatoes.
STEP ILLUSTRATION DIRECTIONS 1 
Place on flat cutting board or mat. Open hinged top and fill bottom plate in a single layer with desired food (fits approximately 1 cup/250 mL). 2 
Press down on lid to completely close, keeping fingers and palm on top of QuickHalf Tool. 3 
Align knife to hinge opening opposite hinge and open just enough to fit knife.
TIP: To cut multiple food items evenly, food needs to be approximately the same size. Variations in food size could affect how evenly the food is cut.4 
Continue to press down on top and use sawing motion with knife to cut food. While slicing, use bottom plate as guide to keep knife steady. Ensure tip of knife remains outside of the QuickHalf Tool when slicing. 5 
Slice to end of hinge where knife stop is located. Slide knife out at end of cutting.
TIP: Durable knife stop is designed to withstand contact of blade edges. Over time, this will show cut marks and is considered normal wear.6 
Lift up QuickHalf Tool and remove or pour out food. Repeat as needed. GUARANTEE
