CLEANING
- Wash before using for the first time; dishwasher-safe.
- Remove the green guard before washing. To remove it, squeeze the tabs together and pull up. To replace it, align the notches on the guard with the slots on the base and snap it into place.
- To grind more than one kind of herb, finish grinding the first herb. Before grinding the second herb, clean the gears by running them under warm water and turning the handle.
- The ceramic ball may become stained over time. It’s completely normal and will not affect the flavor of your herbs.
USE
- To remove the clear container, pull it at a slight angle.
- Remove the soft green lid before using.
- Place the ceramic ball at the bottom of the container and add loosely packed herbs on top.
- Hold the grinder base and turn the handle.
- If the base stops grinding, shake the tool vigorously so the ceramic ball pushes more herbs into the grinder.
TIPS
- The Herb Mill works best with leafy herbs like parsley, cilantro, mint, and basil.
- Always use fresh, dry herbs. If you’re using frozen herbs, let them thaw before grinding, and always pat your herbs dry before putting them in the container.
GUARANTEE
- Three-year guarantee for noncommercial use. Refer to sales receipt for details.
