Silicone Mats
- • Lay on a flat surface. The mat(s) may need to be lightly floured; refer to your recipe or package instructions.
- • Do not use with sharp knives or other sharp objects. If cutting is necessary, use a plastic knife or butter knife and press lightly so you don’t cut through the mat.

TO USE:
- 1. Pre-heat the oven as the package or recipe directs; no temperature adjustment is necessary.
- 2. Prepare the batter as your recipe or package directs.
- 3. Brush the wells with oil or use cupcake liners if desired.
- 4. Pour approximately ¼ cup (50 mL) of batter into each well. For best results, fill all the wells.
- 5. Bake cupcakes for 15–20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or when the center of a cupcake springs back when gently touched.
- 6. With heat-safe oven mitts, remove the pan from oven by grasping the handles; avoid lifting by the silicone alone or an empty well as it may result in tears. Cool in the pan as the package or recipe directs (10–15 minutes).
- 7. Loosen the sides by gently pushing the silicone sides away from the cupcakes.
- 8. Place an inverted cooling rack on top of the pan. Hold the pan and rack together, flip over, and set down. Gently tap the bottom of the wells to release the cupcakes and lift the pan. Let the cupcakes cool before decorating.
