SAFETY AND USE INSTRUCTIONS
- Read, understand, follow, and save all Safety and Use Instructions to avoid injury.
WARNING
- • Adult supervision is required when using with children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
- • To prevent burns, do not use your fingers to remove food from the pan.
- • Always use caution when handling the hot pans. Use a heat-resistant oven mitt or pad when handling the hot pan or placing it on flat, level surfaces.
SAFEGUARDS
- • Use both hands when handling the pan.
- • Do not use metal utensils in the pan.
- • Extreme temperature change will cause warping. Always allow pan to cool to room temperature prior to adding liquid or cleaning.
- • Foods such as turmeric, mustard, and those that are acidic, such as tomato sauce, may cause discoloration to the pan surface. As needed, line the bottom and sides of the pan with parchment paper cut to fit the pan so the paper does not extend over the top of pan. Refer to package directions for more details.
- • Don’t use abrasive cleansers such as steel wool, cleansers with bleach, or oven-cleaning solutions; they can damage the pan and void the guarantee
CLEANING
- • Wash before using the first time; hand wash only.
- • Let the pan cool to room temperature before cleaning.
- • Do not soak. Make sure to dry completely after washing to prevent rust. Ensure product is completely dry before storing.
- • Pans will naturally darken with use; this won’t affect its performance.
- • Only use a soft sponge, cloth, or kitchen brush for cleaning the pan.
USE AND CARE
- • The pan is safe in conventional and convection ovens. We don’t recommend using the pan in ovens over 450°F (230°C). Don’t use this pan on glass or ceramic cooktops, electric coil, gas burner range, induction (magnetic) range, or an outdoor grill. Not microwave- or broiler-safe.
- • Aerosol nonstick spray is not recommended; it will create a sticky residue which is difficult to clean.
- • Always follow the recipe temperature, baking times, and greasing or flouring instructions.
- • It’s normal to see some scratching after use. To minimize, don’t slide the pan across surfaces.
- • Refrigerator- and freezer-safe
TO USE WITH FUDGE OR CAKE-LIKE BROWNIE MIXES:
- 1. Preheat oven per package instructions.
- 2. Grease per package directions; after greasing, wipe away excess grease with a paper towel to prevent oil buildup on the pan, or use paper baking cups instead.
- 3. Fill each well two-thirds full. If every well in pan is not filled, wipe away any spray within the empty well(s) to prevent build-up.
- 4. Bake time will vary based on type of brownie package. To avoid over baking, check doneness at 20 minutes. If not done, continue to bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- 5. Remove from oven and release brownies immediately to prevent over baking. Always use a heat-resistant oven mitt or pad when handling hot pan.
- 6. To release, cover cooling rack with parchment paper; place covered rack on top of pan and invert.
- 7. Cool completely on cooling rack. Store tightly covered.
Note: For optimal 12 brownie yield, use 18.3 oz. (519 g) package size. Smaller or larger mixes can be used and may yield slightly less or more than 12 brownies.
