Pressure Cooker Mashed Potatoes
These easy and delicious mashed potatoes are quickly cooked in a pressure cooker, saving time and freeing up precious stovetop space.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) water
- 3 lbs. (1.4 kg) russet potatoes, peeled (about 4 medium)
- 1 cup (250 g) butter (2 sticks)
- 2 tsp (10 mL) salt
- ½ cup (125 mL) heavy whipping cream, warmed
Directions
Place the water in the inner pot of the Deluxe Multi Cooker. Add the potatoes to a Pressure Cooker Steamer Basket and place in the inner pot.
Cook on CUSTOM for 20 minutes, then release the pressure manually.
Place the warm potatoes in a large mixing bowl. Add the butter and salt; mash and thoroughly combine.
Stir in the cream and serve.
