Garlic & Herb Burgers

These burgers pair well with easy homemade french fries. Try this recipe for Air Fryer French Fries!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. (1 kg) 85 % lean ground beef, ground turkey, or ground chicken
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Garlic & Herb Rub
  • 6    slices cheddar cheese
  • 6   burger buns
  •  Toppings: Lettuce, tomato, onion, etc.

Directions

  1. Combine the ground meat with the Garlic & Herb Rub. Divide the meat mixture into 6 portions. Press the portions into patties. 

  2. Press PROBE on the Deluxe Electric Grill & Griddle and set the plates to 400°F (200°C). For ground beef, set to 135°F (57°C) for medium to medium-well burgers. For ground chicken or ground turkey, set the probe to 165°F (74°C). When preheated, insert the probe into one patty and place the patties on the grill. Cook in the Closed position, about 5-6 minutes. 

  3.  Slice the tomatoes and onions.

  4.  When done, press CANCEL. Select CUSTOM for 1 minute. Press TOP/BTM and set the top to 400°F (200°C) and the bottom to 250°F (120°C).

  5.  When preheated, top each burger with cheese. Cook in the Top Melt position until the cheese melts.
