Cranberry-Apple Walnut Quick Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) water
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) instant or old-fashioned oats
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) chopped apple
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) dried cranberries
  • 1/8 tsp (0.5 mL) cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Microwave water in 2-cup (500-mL) Silicone Prep Bowl on HIGH for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes. 

  2. Meanwhile add dry oats, apple, cranberries and cinnamon to Make & Take Snack Jar; stir to mix. 

  3. Carefully pour in water; stir until blended.  

  4. Place lid loosely on Jar; let stand 3 minutes. 

  5. Stir before serving; top with walnuts.
