Sweet & Spicy Candied Nuts
These crunchy candied nuts have a little kick—they’re the perfect combination of sweet and heat! Wrap some up to make homemade gifts for family and friends.
- 1 cup (250 mL) nuts of your choice
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) water
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) red pepper flakes
Add the ingredients to the Electric Pop & Stir. Select the NUTS setting and cook with the lid off until the nuts look sandy, about 9–12 minutes.
Remove the nuts and cool completely.
